NFL talks to resume early next week (AP)

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - MAY 17: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell leaves court ordered mediation at the U.S. Courthouse on May 17, 2011 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As the NFL lockout remains in place mediation was ordered after a hearing on an antitrust lawsuit filed by NFL players against the NFL owners after labor talks between the two broke down in March. With training camps set to open in another month, NFL owners and players will resume negotiations next week, hoping to build on recent talks, two people familiar with the discussions told The Associated Press on Friday. While each side has acknowledged progress in the four-month-old lockout, a new collective bargaining agreement isn't imminent.
